Parents Rachel and Orson Wrigglesworth, pictured with their four Children Jacob (6), Haley (4), Liam (3), & Amy (1)

Rachel Wrigglesworth learned to swim at North Lodge Swimming Academy from the age of four until she was 17 years old.

customer testimonial Now that Rachel has four children of her own she believes that “swimming is a vital skill, especially in Australia, where swimming is such a big part of life.
I’ve had friends who couldn’t swim and always felt sorry for them.  I want my kids to have what my parents gave me.  I don’t want them to be afraid or to miss out.  I don’t think it’s really a choice, kids need to know how to swim.
I thought all swim schools would be the same, since I had never been anywhere else.

When we moved to Beaconsfield I put the kids in three different swim schools, and was totally unhappy.  We came straight back to North Lodge.
They actually teach the kids how to swim.
They teach proper techniques from day one.
They have a mini pool in which the kids are in by themselves, without the teacher in the pool, which is good because they feel more independent.
The teachers have an excellent relationship with the kids.  My children absolutely love coming to swimming each week because of this.
Also North Lodge Swimming Academy has a strong swim team and quality coaches, so even as the kids get older, there is an opportunity for them to compete and become really good.”
